An electrostatic field line is a continuous curve because a charge experiences a continuous force when traced in an electrostatic field. The field line cannot have sudden breaks because the charge moves continuously and does not jump from one point to the other.Nov

New resistance of each wire will be r= n^2R R=4. (16/4) Wire should be 4 times strectched so n=4 r=4×4×4=64 Net resistance=64/4 =16

Newton’s corpuscular theory of light states that when light corpuscles strike the interface of two media from a rarer (air) to a denser (water) medium, the particles experience forces of attraction normal to the surface. In Rutherford famous gold foil experiment most of the α-particle pass through the foil undeflected signifying most of the space inside the atom should be empty, and many of them get deflected by a very small angle implying that the nature of the charge inside the atom (nucleus) that is located at the centre of the atom should be the same as the α-particles i.e. positive. Out of 10000 α-particle, one of them gets deflected for almost 1800 that means the particles retraces its path telling something very dense is situated at the centre of the atom.
