Bye refers to the advantage to the team it helps the team to not to play first round and seeding refers to the advantage given to the previous winners of the quarter finals directly play the quarter final of the tournament

Seeding is given as an advantage or a 'setback' to stronger teams whereas bye is given when the number of teams are not in the power of 2 for proper setting of a match. Bye is a dummy team that participates in the second round direnctly, whereas.. special seeded or seeded teams participate in the semu finals or the quater finals.

For 26 team there will be 6 bye i.e. 32-26 then divide into two halves i.e. 13 in both the halves then give the bye to 6 teams i.e. first bye to last team of lower half second to first team of upper half third bye to first team of lower half forth bye to last team of upper half and so on

There is no chapter wise or unit wise marking scheme provided by cbse. And if you will compare the sample papers so you will find that there is no unit wise pattern of making question paper
