The diet that is provided to a sportsperson show a large amount of effect on his performance. The various nutrients that show a improvement in the sportsperson's performance are 1. Fats- they act as fuel and hence very important. 2. Carbohydrate- they provide energy to the sportsperson. 3. Proteins- important for muscles. 4. Water- it is the most important macro nutrient required by the sportsperson for a better performance. it keeps the body hydrated plus keeps the body temperature regulated. 5. Minerals - specific minerals show a improvement in the performance. 6. Vitamins- there is no proof that they increase the efficiency of sportsperson hence not required in large amount. But a deficiency in vitamin b complex has shown a decrease in the sports performance. Hence the above mentioned is the proportion and amount in which a sportsperson requires nutrients in his/her diet.

extrinsic motivation takes the form of external incentives to do something, such as the promising of money. But in some cases it seems that these incentives actually demotivate people from performing the task and overpower the inner desire to that work. it kills their intrinsic motivation, their desire to do that task ( such as true interest in the work ) .
