=>Sinx + cosx/9+16-16+16sin2x Sinx + cosx/1]5-16(1-sin2x) Sinx + cosx/25-16(Sin²x+cos²x-2sinxcosx) Sinx + cosx/25-16(sinx-cosx)² ---(i) Let sinx-cosx = t -----(ii) On Differentiating (sinx + cosx)dx = dt ----(iii) Integrating equation (i) and Putting these values from (ii) and (iii) dt/25-16t² dt/(5)²-(4t)² Let 4t = u 4dt =du => 1/4[du/(5)²-(u)²] Now integrate this using identity integration dx/a²-x² = 1/2a[log((a+x)/(a-x))] +c Hope it helps!!

Sandhya Shree 8 years, 1 month ago

then how will u integrate

ewith respect to x........only in case of w.r.to  t can be done ..............

Vaibhav Gupta 8 years, 1 month ago

Use integration by parts taking 1/x as first function and eto the power x as second

Sandhya Shree 8 years, 1 month ago

the integration is not possible in that case...........

and by the by

if xx = t then,

on differentiating

xlog x = log t

(x*1/x +log x)dx=1/t

so it is not a possible case............

Let x to the power x = t Integration e to the power t = e to the power t + C Then put value of t
