Convert it in the form of tan-1and then add and substract x and in the denominator take x common...it will then become tan-1(1+x)- tan-1x

Mona Singh 6 years, 7 months ago

You just simply apply by parts.. keeping cot-1 wala function as constant.. After that.. In the second part of the integration.. First divide the numerator by the denominator.. And then solve simply.. I'm sure you'll do it now.. If you still have problem.. I'll write the steps.. Ask me again.. Best of luck for tomorrow.. Stay calm.. You too will have a great exam tomorrow.. Best wishes..

Whenever the question has even power of cos or sin.. Divide numerator and denominator by that even power of sec.. In this question we will divide by sec^4x.. And then put tanx =z.. The final answer will be.. 1/√3 (tan-1(tan^x -1/√3 tanx) ) +C..

2Tan^-1x ka formulae laga do i.e tan^-12x/1+x^2 than change tan^-1 into cot^-1 uske bat cot^-1 cancel ho jayega cot se phir 2cos^-1x ka formula lagega sin ki term me then sin^-1 also get cancelled with sin and you got equation in term of x and then simply solve for x

Just simply differentiate both sides wrt x and put dy/dx one side and all the others on the other side.

Nivetha Vijayakumar 6 years, 7 months ago

If possible u can simplify it further.

I think that we have to find the value of ' x ' coz the RHS only contain the constant values. If my guess was correct, then x = 1 or x = -1/2.

Nivetha Vijayakumar 6 years, 7 months ago

Should we find the value of 'x' here?
