Actually integration is a way to find the area of bounded/ unbounded region.bounded region by putting limits and unbounded as normal integration. Suppose you have an field of rectangle shape and due to flood or any region your some area covered by the water then you left some region but with irregular shape then through calculus first you divide that area in a infinite parts and then integrate that area . So you get your left field area. Not only integration calculus(differentiation & integration) plays an important role in our practical life
