He didn't had slippers , his clothes all torn and dirty. His family was struggling for their livelihood so there's no way he could have the privilege of going to school . He did wanted to get enrolled in but as he lived in a slum area there were no schools as well. He depended on picking things from the garbage to earn his livelihood. Since he was financially weak, he did not go to school.
