According to the story Deep Water in flamingo book, we are afraid of death because before death, it gives us a lot of pain and also, we fear of loosing everything that we have like family , friends, etc.

Pragya Tyagi 7 years ago

There is no solution to this and i think it is quite normal to be afraid of death

Pragya Tyagi 7 years ago

Fear or threat is intrinsic to human existence. I mean just to contempolate with the ides that the life that we created with our loved ones and family would mean nothing one day so the fear of loosing them or losing ourselves and not being in this world gives goosebumps to everyone... i guess.

Then Mr. marvel let out a scream as Griffin was pulling him outside the bar. the barman, a cabman, a policeman and the man with the gun fought griffin. in the end the man with a gun shot five bullets in the air, where the invisible had just thrown a brick and said that one bullet must have hit Griffin.

POINTS TO REMEMBER Give a title that catches the attention of the reader. Begin with a striking opening sentence which addresses the readers and gets them interested in the topic. Present a strong argument for your ideas supporting it with evidences or elaboration. Use linking devices (however, therefore, although, even though, in order to…) to make the composition appear a whole. Introduce a new point at the beginning of an each paragraph that follows, to strengthen your ideas. Develop your ideas as much as you can to make them interesting and substantial. Conclude with your strongest point. Use passive voice, humor, emotive language, rhetorical questions to provide a specific effect.

Ragging is a kind of evil which has spread its wings even in educational institutes. It needs to be rooted out as early as possible so that the lives of innocent students, who become victims of it, can be saved. There is hardly any college where cases of ragging are unheard. Some ‘so-called’ senior students consider themselves superior to juniors and give juniors strange and embarrassing situations in order to make fun of them. If not followed, juniors are sometimes maltreated by their seniors to show off in front of others. Ragging has given birth to enmity among students. One who becomes victim of it, plans to take revenge from the assaulter in any form. Therefore, we usually get to see that youngsters of our country that, they have been short-tempered and often lose their temper even on trifles. Even in some of the cases, victims are so humiliated that they don’t think twice before committing suicide. They not only end their lives but also their as well as their parents’ aspirations. Supreme Court as well as high courts of India have taken this issue with a heavy hand and declared it as a criminal offence. Serious recommendations have been sent to all the colleges and universities to keep a hawk eye on such students who are involved in such malpractices. If any institution fails to comply with the recommendations of Supreme Court of fails to control such practices, their affiliation to UGC may be cancelled or a hefty fine can be imposed on them.

Crime against women has been a bane of India's development efforts. With arcane customs like *** being a taboo in India, Sati, and Dowry, and the overall lower status of women further exacerbates these crimes. From the last decade's crime statistics, we see sharp number of crimes registered under ‘Cruelty by Husband and his Relatives’. It also appears that the same category has had the most dramatic rise over the years. This is a surprising insight since the popular media is rife with news of rapes, which appear to be the most rampant and high profile of all the crimes. No other crime has been given as much attention in the media than Rape, with a significant increase in the last few years owing to cases like the Delhi Gang Rape, Scarlett Keeling Case in Goa, etc. which made international headlines. The hype in the media compels us to believe that rapes are on a dramatic rise. However, the data reveals that rapes have more or less followed a flat trend.
