1) A Roadside Stand summary deals with the lives of poor deprived people. Furthermore, the poet contrasts the struggling lives of the countryside people with the insensitive life of the city dwellers. 2) The city dwellers don’t even bother to ponder on the harsh condition of the roadside stand people. 3) The city dwellers don’t think about the struggles these roadside people have to go through in order to sell their goodies. 4) These poor people have nothing to do except wait for the passing cars to stop and purchase their products. 5) If at all a car stops by, it is to know about directions or to make complain about something. 6) The poet deeply sympathises with these impoverished people and feels compassion for them. 7) This sympathy is evident in the portrayal of the roadside sheds in a poignant manner.

Bangle making one of the most Industries to work in. There are quite a few health hazardous associated with it. First of all workers work in badly lit conditions by the light of oil lamps. They spend long hours working in the near darkness thereby, losing their eyesight as the years go by. Second the process of industry such as glass blowing and welding invalue being exposed to high temperature. This leads to heat stress, where the body is under stressed from heat. Since bangle making does not bring enough money . People who work in the bangle industry do not have access to proper food. Finally children are employed in this industry which means all they problem they have impact on the next generation.

If it would have been the first lesson of M. Hamel then the same no one was going to pay attention to the lesson of their mother tongue i.e. french lesson as M hamel nature was same that is rude and strict teacher and the students like Frank will always feel scared from him like the lesson of participles provided by M hamel and his threat will be always remain in the students mind so no one will be going to attend the French class heartedly instead in the fear of m hamel .
