Avadhi Badjatya 6 years, 7 months ago

Yes. I checked the answer..its surely Highly inelastic Demand ??

Avadhi Badjatya 6 years, 7 months ago

??I think it will be highly inelastic as the demand for rare articles will not change ...elastic demand will not occur ...demand will remain almost constant ..Soo it will be HIGHLY INELASTIC DEMAND ..??

When a firm has perfectly elastic demand ,this implies that AR curve(demand curve) is horizontal straight line. This keans firm is in perfect competetion. So, MR=AR. AR is constant in perfectly competitive market. TR will increase at constant rate

Nishika Arora 6 years, 7 months ago

TR will increase at the rate of 10 rs bczz under perfect competition market MR equals AR and MR is the rate at which TR rises .... TR= price*quantity and AR equals TR divide by qty by substituting value of TR u will get AR equals price.....

I can see you're still bothering to look at the "ask and answer" section, Prolly "seeking" for answers IDK. The app has this feature so the users are using it. You be yourself instead and let others learn their ways. :)

Services ate treated as a part of intermediate consumption ,accordingly payment of fees to lawyer orCA engaged by a firm is not to be included

Indrajeet Singh Arora 6 years, 7 months ago

All this transaction mentioned by YOU iare unilateral ( one sided in nature). It does not involve any productive service (i.e the services which are incurred on factors of production ) and also not involve any consideration in return . This was the reason for exclusion for such transaction from national income eatimation .

Banking Companies Act 1949 defines, “Banking means the accepting for the purpose of lending or investments of deposits of money from the public, repayable on demand or otherwise, and withdrawable by cheques, draft, order or otherwise”.
Clearly the two essential features of a bank are (i) Acceptance of chequable deposits from the public, and (ii) lending. One function like borrowing (in the form of deposits) or lending alone does not make a financial institution a bank. For example, since Post Office Saving Banks do not perform the essential function of lending, although they accept deposits, they are not banks in the real sense of the term. Similarly, financial institutions like UTI, LIC, etc. are not banks, because they do not accept chequable deposits although they lend to others.
