  • Recursion is a concept in which a function calls itself. It is a form of repetition that does not involve iteration.
  • A recursive function is a one which is called from within its own body. Every recursive function must have at least two cases: the recursive case or the inductive case and the base case or the stopping case.
  • When a recursive function calls itself endlessly, an infinite recursion occurs in a program.
  • A recursive function can be called in two ways directly or indirectly. In direct recursion, a function calls itself repeatedly.

Priya Dharshini ? 5 years, 3 months ago

I do mug up few important programms... few i understand each and every line of the programm and try to figure out if i add so and so value wat is changing and all those... when i am doing a program on my own i try to print each and every line to get its out come... by that i come to understand whole programm. If u dont understant theory, if loop ,while loop, else,if else statements uses u will not be able to do it..... practice as many outcome programms from t.b u will be able to understand it more deeply and conceptualy..
