Hypophosphoric acid is a strong reducing agent then orthophosphoric acid because the former has 2 P--H bonds which determine reducing nature of compound whereas the latter has zero P--H bonds. hyphophosphoric acid--- H₃PO₂ has 2 P--H bonds one P--OH bonds and one P double bond O.

In Nucleophilic substitution reactions aryl halides (haloarenes) are less reactive due to the following reasons: The primary reaction of aromatic compounds is Electrophillic addition because of the aromaticity which benzene posseses. Benzene itself acts as a nuceophile which isn't in the favour of nucleophilic substitution reactions. Also, in haloarenes the C-X bond (carbon halogen bond) has a double bond characters due to the lone pair of halogens. Whereas the C-X bond in alkyl halides is comparitively weaker with respect to the resonance stabilised C-X bond in aryl halides. Thus we can conclude that haloalkanes are more reactive than haloarenes.

α- glucose and β- glucose are two cyclic hemiacetal forms of glucose which differ only in the configuration of hydroxyl group (-OH) at anomeric carbon. Such isomers are called anomers. The six-membered cyclic structure of glucose is called pyranose structure. α-D-glucose and β-D-glucose are stereoisomers, they differ in 3-dimensional configuration of atoms/groups at one or more positions.Anomers are capable of interconverting in solution. All cyclic structures of monosaccharides exhibit anomeric α (down) and β(up) versions. These differences occur at the anomeric acetal carbon (the only carbon with two C−O bonds.
