Ortho para percentage is not to be learned. To determine the major product among ortho , meta ,and para we classify groups as ortho ,para or meta directing . You should be able to find their list on the web ,among groups which are ortho and para directing ( both simultaneously) the para productnis major in most cases except when methyl substituted benzene
