Some substance Like Agbr or all substances which have ionic vacancies shows both effect ????????

Tannya Pande 7 years, 6 months ago

Yes it is due to ionic vacancy but the coordination number is also effected .??

Rahul Chauhan 7 years, 6 months ago

But as far i had studied that these defects are due to its ionic vacancies???

Tannya Pande 7 years, 6 months ago

AgBr shows both the defects because AgBr crystals has coordination number of 6 which is neither high nor low. ( frenkel has low & schottky has high coordination number) .☺????

Order of rxn is sum of concentration terms on which rate of rxn actually depends .It can be fraction as well as zero. On the other hand , molecularity is number of atoms or molecules that collide with one another simultaneously so as to result into chemical rxn . It is always whole number , it cannot be fraction or zero
