KCN being ionic in nature have unequal distribution of electron b/w K and C .as a result C have extra lone pair of electron which it donate to alkyl part forming alkyl cyanide . whereas AgCN is covalent in nature due to which C does not have lone pair of electron . as a result N having a lone pair of electron donate it to alkyl part forming isocyanides

Resonance effect describes the case when there are more than one possible molecular structures possible for the given molecular formula ( canonical structures) but none of them actually describe the molecule totally correct. This is due to delocalisation of π electrons. The physical properties of the actual compound show intermediate characteristics of these canonical structures. Eg bond length of all C-C bonds of benzene in its canonical structure is different , single bond longer than double bond. But actual experimentally determined data through spectroscopy shows that all C-C bond lengths are equal . Thus a single canonical structure is incorrect and a mixture that js a hybrid of those canonical structures is used to describe the molecule know as resonance hybrid.

Self means the one propanal molecule react with another molecule of the same type ie another propanal molecule. The c adjacent to carbonyl group attach to Carbonyl carbon of 2nd molecule whose doubly bonded O first convert to OH then gets removed as a result of heating . Hence you get 2 methyl 3ene pent 2one

Molality is preferred over molarity in chem because their is no effect of temperature in molality. It does not change with temp. Because it repent upon mass of solvent (molality is equal to no. Of moles of solute /mass of the solvent in kg). Their is no effect of temp. on mass. Where as molarity is change because molarity is depend upon volume of solution (molarity is equal to no. Of moles of solute /volume of solution in litre ).volume is change with temp.
