Group 18 of the periodic table is called the noble gases .......because all the elements are non-metals and gases at room temperature, ....... and “noble” because they have full valence shells and are therefore very stable on their own. They are unlikely to react with other elements.

... Sulphur is less electronegative than oxygen, ......and the S-H bond is much less polar than the O-H bond...... Hence, there is no hydrogen bonding in hydrogen sulphide,....... and it normally exists as gas....In water hydrogen bonding is present....therefore H2O is liquid....??
