Due to smaller size and lone pair repulsion in the oxygen atom, it is not able to show catenation property while sulphur due it's larger size than oxygen and less repulsion between lone paire due to distance between them , it can exist as S8 in nature and hence shows catenation property.

Becacuse in H2O H bond occurs which make them strong bond so bond doesn't dissociate easily and not give H+ In H2S H bond not occur so easily dessociate to give H+. H2O is not neutral it is weak acidic
