Substitutional solid solution  strengthening occurs when the solute atom is large enough that it can replace solvent atoms in their lattice positions. Some alloying elements are only soluble in small amounts, whereas some solvent and solute pairs form a solution  over the whole range of binary compositions

The atoms, molecules, or ions that are bound to the coordination centre or the central atom/ion are referred to as ligands.

These ligands can either be a simple ion or molecule (such as Cl– or NH3) or in the form of relatively large molecules, such as ethane-1,2-diamine (NH2-CH2-CH2-NH2).

Semiconductor : Semiconductors are those substances whose conductivity lies between conductors and insulators. e.g., germanium, silicon, carbon etc.

Priya Dharshini ? 6 years, 8 months ago

any of a class of solids (such as germanium or silicon) whose electrical conductivity is between that of a conductor and that of an insulator in being nearly as great as that of a metal at high temperatures and nearly absent at low temperatures.

Glycolic acid (hydroacetic acid or hydroxyacetic acid); chemical formula C2H4O3 (also written as HOCH2CO2H), is the smallest α-hydroxy acid (AHA). This colorless, odorless, and hygroscopic crystalline solid is highly soluble in water. It is used in various skin-care products. Glycolic acid is found in some sugar-crops. A glycolate or glycollate is a salt or ester of glycolic acid.

Priya Dharshini ? 6 years, 8 months ago

Formula: C2H4O3 IUPAC ID: 2-Hydroxyethanoic acid. It is highly soluable in water and used in skin products. I think so it is found in sugar cane or any other sugar crops

As per the new exam pattern, CBSE has given more weight to school-based assessment and objective type questions. The internal assessment was part of CBSE assessment system but it was not available in all the subjects. Now, in the new scheme of assessment all the subjects will have 25% (20 Marks out of total 100) marks for internal assessment. Thus, in March 2020 exam, CBSE will conduct board exam for 80 marks only. However, some science subjects and fine arts will continue to be of 70 and 30 marks. Now students will find 33% internal choice in all the sections in the question paper in all subjects. Thus, students will have plenty of options to choose the questions. This will help them to answer the question that they know better. Means, the overall difficulty level of the question paper will be reduced by 33 percent. Another good news for students is, CBSE will put 25% objective type questions including multiple-choice questions in all the subjects. It means, there will be at least 20 Marks questions out of total 80 marks will be objective type questions. Now the subjective questions where students need to write detailed answer will carry only 60 marks. In other words, the overall 60% of assessment need to write answers in detail. Rest 40% is objective type and internal assessment. We know that all competitive and entrance exams have exactly opposite assessment process that of adopted by CBSE in schools. CBSE assess the students on subjective questions whereas, after school, students face objective questions in exams. They have to join these so-called gateways to success along with their schools as the school syllabus do not teach them how to tackle objective questions in entrance exams. Yes, the new initiative will certainly help students get ready for the assessment process after school exams. That's All, I found out out and...... you'n also check about it in this App Too.........

Hey according to my school teacher all types of questions will come but in bits Ex- in 5 marks question there will be 5 bits. For chemistry only. You can check the cbse syllabus from this app to know more.

A non-volatile solute does not produce vapor at the boiling point of the solution...... For ex. : A substance with higher vapor pressure vaporizes more readily than a substance with a lower vapor pressure......And In case of a volatile solute this has a high vapor pressure and hence produces vapor!!!! Hopes It Helps.....
