Hi, Adsorption of a gas on a solid (also known as occlusicon) is inversely proportional to the temperature

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 4 months ago

It is observed that the adsorption decreases with the increase of temperature.

For example, one gram of charcoal adsorbs about 10 ml of N2 at 273 K, 20 ml at 244 K and 45 ml at 195 K.

The Coordination number of an atom in a given molecule or a crystal refers to the total number of atoms, ion, or molecules bonded to the atom in question. ‘Ligancy’ is another term used to refer to the coordination number of an atom.

The atoms, ions, or molecules that are bonded to the central atom (or molecule/ion) are called ligands. The ligancy of molecules is calculated in a different manner when compared to calculating the coordination number of a central atom in a crystal.

Priya Dharshini ? 6 years, 4 months ago

Ya sure..?. guide means any of the books which u r using for extra practice..

? Natasha Yadav? 6 years, 4 months ago

But instead of guide, I use NCERT exemplar.

Priya Dharshini ? 6 years, 4 months ago

Okay if u r done with reading.... mark the question ans... and try to recall them... then learn it.. after u r done with this take any of the guide and solve those question.. using ncert t.b and not that guide. Ur memory power and concept clearing will increase.. solve extra questions, previous year question paper..

First write the eq. Cu2+(aq) + 2e- ➡️Cu(s) we know that 1F = 96485 nd also from the eq. we get that there are 2 moles of electrons in the balanced equation ↪️ total coulombs = 2*96485 = 192970C ➡️ now use the formula ➡️ 24125(1 mole of cu/192970) solve this u will get the final answer which is 0.125 mol.

Why? Why? Why? You are depressed. Are your boards starting from tomorrow, no absolutely not , so first thing calm yourself. Be positive and start it, practice and practice, it will surely be at your fingertips. If you are thinking by taking tension , you will get it, that's not going to happen. So believe in hardwork.

yes.. it is helpful according to me becoz I use to solve ncert exemplar along with ncert book.. but it's upto u whether u are considering it important or not. becoz many students in my class skip this book don't know why.
Is ncert exemplar helpful.

Ďãřşháñăã Yadav ? ? ? 6 years, 4 months ago

nd most important do ncert questions. if u skip ncert question then u will not able to do organic chemistry so, ncert intext as well as back exercise both are important.

Priya Dharshini ? 6 years, 4 months ago

Write all the application based questions cearly in all test... then where ever possible write reactions...

Ďãřşháñăã Yadav ? ? ? 6 years, 4 months ago

listen sis no need to be depressed organic is easy all u need to understand it's mechanism reasons about catalyst.. Nd for that u have to follow only ncert learn from ncert... Read one chapter approx 2 - 3 times Review your organic chem basics before the class. don't simply mug up.. try to understand it. don’t write mechanism in your short notes, just write down the net reaction and when you revise your short notes just remember mechanism in the back of your mind.

Priya Dharshini ? 6 years, 4 months ago

See... yaar first learn nomenclature and basic conversions.... then do ncert of organic chapter. Read ncert 1 like normally then do it with full concentration. And once again read it. Then solve ncert questions... practise all the name reactions atleast 10 times. Byheart it like hell. If u know that u can do any conversions.... be confident. All are weak in any of the topic dont try to show it in ur papers..
