When a strong ligand is present in complex compound then it shifts the electron present in d - orbital and then the d orbital i empty due to shifting of electrons so hybridization becomes d^2sp^3 and it has less no of unpaired electrons that's why square planar are low spin complex... But in tetrahedral structure weak Ligand is present in complex compound so it can't displaces the electron so it has large number of unpaired electrons present in d - orbital that's why it has high spin complex..

2nd thing to be consider here is the size. the size of the colloidal particle is intermediate between that of the particles of true solution.

Řøhăň Řąjpůť ✌️✊ 6 years, 2 months ago

I don't know exact answer but I will try to answer it hope u will get the answer from my explanation. look The colloids form bigger particles which cannot pass through the membrane. it is therefore preferable to speak of substance in 'colloidal state' rather than calling it a crystal or substance.

Gaurav Seth 6 years, 2 months ago

Colloid is not a substance but a state of substance is a true statement because some substances which are crystalloids under certain conditions can be colloids under the other, e.g.
NaCl is a crystalloid in aqueous medium, but when mixed with benzene, it behaves as a colloid. It is the size of the particles of that matter, i.e. the state in which the substance exists. If size lies in range of 1-1000 nm, it is in the colloidal state. So, above statement is true.
