Due to lower energy in 4s orbital as compare to 3d orbital in 4s orbital have lower value of (n+l) in which filling of electron will occur easily as compare to 3d orbital.(n+l) rule is decide the energy level of the orbitals.

The clouds are at lower height. They are seen due to scattering of light from lower parts of the atmosphere, which contains large dust particles , water droplets and ice particles. In the case size of scatterer is very large than wavelength of colours.Therfore all wavelength are scattered equally and they merge to give a commom sensation of white colour .Hence clouds generally appear white

The answer is Oxygen. This is because of the small size of O. When O gains an electron, the electrons in its shells experience electron-electron repulsion, because of its small size and also due to the absence of d orbitals. While in S, it can gain an electron easily due to the presence of d orbitals. Thus, O releases less energy and than S after gaining an electron.

Isopropyl alcohol dissolves a wide range of non-polar compounds. It also evaporates quickly, leaves nearly zero oil traces, compared to ethanol, and is relatively non-toxic, compared to alternative solvents.

Add water to propene in presence of hydrogen peroxide. So, what you get is Propan-1-ol (Anti-markonikoff rule). Now, oxidise this product in presence of mild oxidising agent, like PCC, and then what you get is Propanal.

SN1 is 2step reaction and SN2 is one step reaction

Deeya Singh 6 years, 2 months ago

The SN1 reaction is a substitution reaction in organic chemistry. "SN" stands for "nucleophilic substitution", and the "1" says that the rate-determining step is unimolecular. The SN2 reaction is a type of reaction mechanism that is common in organic chemistry. In this mechanism, one bond is broken and one bond is formed synchronously, i.e., in one step, and the "2" says that the rate determining step is bimolecular.

The compounds in which small atoms like H, C, N, etc., occupy interstitial sites in the crystal lattice are called interstitial compounds.
These compounds are well known for transition metals because small atoms can easily occupy the positions in the voids present in the crystal lattices of transition metals.
