Chlorine ki oxidation state ko x maan kar solve kar dena hai For eg-HClO4 mein Cl ki oxidation state ko x maano phir H ki toh +1 hoti hai aur O ki -2 toh aise +1+x+4×(-2)=0 (0 isliye kyoki whole molecule ka charge 0 hai) So,x ki value +7 hai Yes if you wish you can learn elemental oxidation states but its not necessary as much

I think you should now stick with only ncert questions in chemistry because that is from where the maximum chances are to ask a question because in a month it is not only chemistry bht other subjects as well but if your entire syllabus is done then you are free to do sample papers for building up your confidence.
