महादेवी वर्मा (अंग्रेज़ी: Mahadevi Verma, जन्म: 26 मार्च, 1907, फ़र्रुख़ाबाद; मृत्यु: 11 सितम्बर, 1987, प्रयाग) हिन्दी भाषा की प्रख्यात कवयित्री हैं। महादेवी वर्मा की गिनती हिन्दी कविता के छायावादी युग के चार प्रमुख स्तंभ सुमित्रानन्दन पन्त, जयशंकर प्रसाद और सूर्यकान्त त्रिपाठी निराला के साथ की जाती है।

आलोक धन्वा का जन्म 2 जुलाई 1948 ई० में मुंगेर (बिहार) में हुआ। वे हिंदी के उन बड़े कवियों में हैं, जिन्होंने 70 के दशक में कविता को एक नई पहचान दी। उनका पहला संग्रह है- दुनिया रोज बनती है। 'जनता का आदमी', 'गोली दागो पोस्टर', 'कपड़े के जूते' और 'ब्रूनों की बेटियाँ' हिन्दी की प्रसिद्ध कविताएँ हैं।
