There are two types of collision i.e. Elastic collision and Inelastic collision. Elastic collision :- The collision in which both the momentum and the kinetic energy of the system remains conserved are called elastic collision. Inelastic collision :- The collision in which only the momentum remain conserved but kinetic energy does not remain conserved are called Inelastic collision.

Refrigerators

It works on principle which is reverse of a heat engine.
In refrigerators we have 2 bodies lower temperature (cold) body which is freezer and higher temperature (hot) body which is surroundings.
It takes heat from the cold reservoir and then some work is done on the refrigerator and then the amount of heat is transferred to heat reservoir.
Let Q₂ be the takes from the cold reservoir, W is the work done on the system and then releases Q₁ amount of heat to the hot reservoir.
Mathematically Q₂+ W=Q₁
