oscillations are motion of too and fro or back and forth but periodic motion are those which are repeated at regular time interval as type of motion does not matter.

Have a bowl of water. Keep wetting your eyes with it. And pour some water under your palms and feel the Chillness. Better have water from the fridge or drop a few ice cubes
