I think it is increase of height on a path where downwards force act with more strength and decreases acceleration

Nancy Rajput 7 years, 6 months ago

may be its denote as acceleration

Aman Kumar 7 years, 6 months ago

If the acceleration is opposite i.e negative then it is called retardation. Decrease in velocity with respect to time , called retardation.

Nancy Rajput 7 years, 6 months ago

thanks a lot

Ďãřşháñăã Yadav???✊ 7 years, 6 months ago

and if you want more details.. Just go through with 9th class physics (refresher). it will definitely help you.

Ďãřşháñăã Yadav???✊ 7 years, 6 months ago

Negative acceleration is called retardation. If the velocity of a body is decreasing with respect to time, the acceleration is said to be negative. Retardation is the rate of decrease in velocity.
