When 2 vectors act on an angle then parallelogram law is used and when 2 bodies or vectors don't form any angle with each other instead move parallel to each other either in same direction or in opposite direction we use relative velocity. Hope this will help u.

I think it is possible for a zero magnitude vector to have direction.

Ʌɐpɐʎ Ɐuɐɥsɹɐp . 7 years, 6 months ago

The zero vector has no particular direction; this is consistent with the fact that it is orthogonal to every other vector.

Fundamental quantities are those which are the most basic quantities in nature and cannot be derived. Example: Length, Mass, Time etc. You cannot derive them from other quantities. Derived quantities are those which can be derived from the fundamental quantities. Example: Seed is a derived quantity. It can be derived from fundamental quantities length and time.

Nancy Rajput 7 years, 6 months ago

The units of fundamental physical quantities are called fundamental units. They are length, mass and time. These units can neither be derived from one another nor can be resolved into any other units. They are independent of one another. Units of physical quantities can be expressed in terms of fundamental units and such units are called derived units. Unit of area can be an example for derived unit. If L is the length of square then L x L = L2 is its area. Similarly, the volume of a cube is L x L x L = L3 cubic area. Units of any physical quantity can be derived from its defining equation.

Coulomb's law states that the magnitude of the electrostatic force between two point charges is directly proportional to the product of the magnitudes of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
 F = kQ1Q2/r2,

The proportionality constant k is called the electrostatic constant and has the value: 9,0 ×109 N⋅m2⋅C−2 in free space.
