Three Laws of Motion:----- (1.) First Law, when an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force. It may be seen as a statement about inertia, that objects will remain in their states of motion unless a force acts to change the motion. (2.) Second Law, In an innertial refference frame, the vector sum of the forces (F) on an object is equal to the mass (m) of that object multiplied by the acceleration (a) of the object F=ma. ( It is assumed here that the mass (m) is constant. ) (3.) Third Law, When one body exerts a force on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force equal in magnitude and opposite in direction on the first body.

Frankie Shympliang 7 years, 4 months ago

For eg the formula of force is ma Where (m) represent mass and(a) represent acceleration due to gravity Mass = M Acceleration due to gravity = velocity /time Where velocity =displacement /time Displacement is nothing but length So velocity =L/T where (L) represent length and(T) represent time So acceleration due to gravity =L/T/T So the dimension of force( ma )= M^1 L/T^-2

Indrajeet Mathapati 7 years, 4 months ago

For solving dimentions firstly we should know the formulas . Example:Area=length×breath Where as , (breath is also one type of length) So, Area=length×length =length2 Dimensinal formula =[M0 L2 T0]

F= [M1 L1 T-2]..,,,,,, a =1, b=1, c=-2..,,, M1 = 1kg, L1 = 1m, T1 = 1s,,,,, M2 = 1g, L2 = 1cm, T2 = 1s,,,, n1= 1 Newton,,, n2 = ?,, Using the formula... n2= n1[M1/M2]a [L1/L2]b [T1/T2]c,,, n2= 1 [1kg/1g]1 [1m/1cm]1 [1s/1s]-2,,, n2= 1[1000g/1g]1 [100cm/1cm]1 x1,,,, n2= 1000×100 = 100000  = 10^5  dynes
