3rd motion : 2as=v^2-u^2 S=1/2(v+u)t S=(v+u÷2)t S=v't Now expand v't V't=[v+u÷2][v-u÷a]. [t=v-u÷2] now V't=v+u/2×v-u/a Then V^2-u^2=2as Thus we derived the third equation of motion

ACC to. The Cartesian plane region above the origin is taken as +be(+y), region down the origin is taken as -ve (-y),that's why we take g (negative),because it goes down the origin

Geetesh Rathore 7 years, 4 months ago

Hamesha negative nhi hota jb object downward motion m ho to wo positive hota h

Raja Gupta 7 years, 4 months ago

Due to Cartesian system downward direction is taken as negative

A + B = C

(A + B)2 = C2

A2 + B2 + 2ABCOS thita = C2

144 + 25 + 2(12)(5)cos thita = 169

169 + 120 cos thita = 169

120 cos thita = 0

cos thita = 0

thita = 900

Proof. When we can show that Newton’s first and third law are contained in the second law, then we can say that it is the real law of motion. (i) First law is contained in second law: According to Newton’s second law of motion, It means that there will be no acceleration in the body if no external force is applied. This represents that a body at rest will remain at rest and a body in uniform motion will continue to move along the same straight line in the absence of an external force. This corresponds to Newton’s first law of motion. So, first law of motion is contained in Second law of motion

Point object is just a consideration so that you can solve most of the physics problems...... else you have to take the consideration of all other effects like vibrations, spinning motion etc

Varun Daksh 7 years, 4 months ago

If the length covered by the object are very large in comparison to the size of the object, the object are considered to point object

y = 1/root x

root x = 1/y squaring both side

x = 1/y2

x = y-2

dx/dy = (-2) y-3

dx/dy = (-2)/ y3

Gaurav Kumar 7 years, 4 months ago

y=1/√x=√xraised to the power -1 , so x raised to the power -1/2 applying formula we get -1/2√x³

v2 - u2 = 2as

(10)2 - (5)2 = 2a(50)

100 - 25 = 100a

75 =100a

a = 0.75 m/s2

Chirag Solanki 7 years, 4 months ago

here u = 0 m/s and v = 54x5/18 m/s = 3x5 = 15 m/s

t = 20 sec

now we use first equation of kinematics v = u + at

                                                             15 = 0 + a(20)

                                                              a = 0.75 m/s2

now use second equation s = ut + 1/2 at2

                                                  s = 0 + 1/2 (0.75)400

                                                   s = 200x0.75

                                                   s = 150 m
