Steel as it requires more stress to elogate than rubber....as youngs modulus= stress/strain...therefore more the numerator more the value of youngs modulus and more the youngs modulud nore is the elasticity

Priya Dharshini ☺☺ 7 years, 4 months ago

steel is more elastic than rubber because steel comes back to its original shape faster than rubber when the deforming forces are removed. Elasticity In Physics And In Common Life: In common life we label a substance as more elastic if it can be stretched more than others.

Gravitational Potential Energy

  • Potential energy is due to the virtue of position of the object.
  • Gravitational Potential Energy is due to the potential energy of a body arising out of the force of gravity.
  • Consider a particle which is at a point P above the surface of earth and when it falls on the surface of earth at position Q, the particle is changing its position because of force of gravity.
  • The change in potential energy from position P to Q is same as the work done by the gravity.
  • It depends on the height above the ground and mass of the body.

Lewis acid is an electron-pair acceptor. A Lewis base is any substance, such as the OH- ion, that can donate a pair of nonbonding electrons. A Lewis base is therefore an electron-pair donor. One advantage of the Lewis theory is the way it complements the model of oxidation-reduction reactions.

Acceleration is dv/dt. That means it is rate of change in velocity....in this case time can't be zero because the object is moving with time so.....according to me?......here change in velocity is zero and that's why acceleration would be zero....may be i m not wrong???it's my logic....

Nancy Rajput 7 years, 4 months ago

hope it help you ?

Nancy Rajput 7 years, 4 months ago

If the body moves with constant speed without changing the direction, the acceleration of the body is zero. ie, for constant velocity and no change in direction = no acceleration. Yes , the body have acceleration with zero velocity. for eg:- consider a body moving with some velocity in forward direction and it is stopped suddenly the velocity of the body becomes zero, but still the acceleration acts on it.

Thermal stability depends of carbonates depends on the size of the cation . The size of beryllium is smaller than the size of Barium , Hence , BeCO3 is unstable . Barium and carbonate have comparable size. Hence , BaCO3 is stable.
