According to Bernoulli's principle,In case of steady flow(streamline fluid flow),non viscous, incopressible flowing in a tube having non-uniform cross-sectional area, sum of the pressure , K.E per unit volume and P.E per unit volume is constant.

Macherla Indupriya 7 years, 2 months ago

I want its derivation!! Yaar

Yogita Ingle 7 years, 2 months ago

  • For a streamline fluid flow, the sum of the pressure (P), the kinetic energy per unit volume (ρv2/2) and the potential energy per unit volume (ρgh) remain constant.
  • Mathematically:- P+ ρv2/2 + ρgh = constant
    • where P= pressure ,
    • E./ Volume=1/2mv2/V = 1/2v2(m/V) = 1/2ρv2
    • E./Volume = mgh/V = (m/V)gh = ρgh

To measure a time interval we need a clock. Clocks in India works on the atomic standard of time, which is based on the periodic vibrations produced in a Cesium atom. That’s why Indian clocks are also called Cesium Clock. The standard unit of time is second.

Specific heat at constant pressure is Greater then specific heat at constant volume because at constant pressure there is a small change in volume which leads to work done and hence the total required energy increases while at constant volume there is no such change in volume and hence it is less than the other .

Days would get slightly longer . This is because the liquid water would distribute more evenly about the globe rather than all being near the poles, so the Earth's moment of inertia would increase. Since the Earth's angular momentum will not change, that means that its angular velocity (rate of turning) will decrease.

When ice on the polar caps will melt then whole water is spread throughout the earth due to this, moment of inertia will increase and by conservation of angular momentum angular velocity will decrease . Since angular velocity , w= 2π/t , therefore time period will increase,i.e.,duration of day will increase

Nice answer Priya

Priya Dharshini ? 7 years, 2 months ago

Yes the days would be longer. Since the ice that was at the South Pole is now distributed around the world, there is a change in the distribution of mass. Like an ice skater opening their arms. Since the mass is further from the axis of rotation, the rotation slows; which means the days are longer.this due to increase in moment of inertia

Time period of a simple pendulum is T = 2π sqrt (1/g). When g = 0, sqrt (1/g) = infinity. Hence T = Infinity @ center of earth for simple pendulum
