Doppler Effect is the phenomenon of motion-related frequency change.
Consider if a truck is coming from very far off location as it approaches near our house, the sound increases and when it passes our house the sound will be maximum. And when it goes away from our house sound decreases. This effect is known as Doppler Effect.

Let the velocity of the plane be V m/s
horizontal component of velocity =
V cos 30°= 200
v x √3/2 = 200
v = 400/√3
   =231 km/hr
vertical component of velocity is
V sin 30 = v/2=115.47 km/h

Liquid rises more in a narrow tube and less in a wider tube because here in case, h is inversely proportional to the radius.

Meghna Sharma 6 years, 9 months ago

Ascent formula When one end of capillary tube of radius r is immersed into a liquid of density p which wets the sides of the capillary tube, the shape of the liquid meniscus in the tube becomes concave upwards.it is called ascent formula. In this case, liquid rises more in a narrow tube and less in wider tube.

Kunwar Abhay Singh 6 years, 9 months ago

ascent formula is a rise of liquid in a capillart tube. It is inversely proportional to the radius of tube. It is inversely proportional to the density of liquid. It is directly proportional to the surface tension of the liquid.
