Uniform circular motion

Yogita Ingle 6 years, 4 months ago

In uniform circular motion linear momentum changes but kinetic energy does not.

This is because in circular motion, linear velocity keeps on changing at each and every point as it is a vector quantity.
Momentum or linear momentum is velocity dependent and thus it changes as velocity changes because it is a vector quantity as well.

But since kinetic energy is not a vector quantity it doesn't change in circular motion.

Sia ? 6 years, 4 months ago

The given expression is,  x = a + bt + ct2  where x is in metre and t in second.
Therefore, according to principle of homogeneity of dimensions, we find that
  Unit of a = unit of x = metre
  Unit of b = unit of {tex}\frac{x}{t}{/tex}= m/s
  and unit of c = unit of {tex}\frac{x}{t^2}{/tex}= m/s2

Ayush Vishwakarma?? 6 years, 4 months ago

This chapter is to important because all the basic knowledge is given in this chapter ok. Questions based on physical world that are 1) what is unification.? 2) what is reductionism? 3) write the forces in increasing order? 4) what is the greek name of physics? 5)why physics is important in daily life? 6)how the physics change the society and technology? 7) what is classical physics or macrophysics? 8)what is modern physics or microphysics? Which force is the weakest and strongest force in nature?. These are several questions hope that you make these.
