The unit of electric field intensity is newton per coulomb i.e. N/C.

Newton is the unit of force and has dimensions [MLT−2]

Coulomb is the unit of charge and has the dimensions [A1T1]

Hence the dimension of field will be [MLT−3A−1]

No, it is not a unit of time.. It is a unit of length. Light year is the distance that light travels in one year with velocity 3*10⁸ m/s. 1 light year (ly)= 9.46*10¹⁵ m

Given that,
x = a + bt + ct2 + dt3
x is the displacement. Now, by principle of homogeneity
a = bt = ct2 = dt3 = x
Now a = L
[bt] = L
b = [LT-1]
c = [LT-2]
d = [LT-3]
Hence, the dimension of a, b, c and d is L, [LT-1], [LT-2] and [LT-3]
