tan 15° + cot 15°
= sin 15° / cos 15° + cos 15° / sin 15°
= (sin²15° + cos²15°) / (sin 15° cos 15°)
= 1 / (1/2 sin 30°)
= 2 / sin 30°
= 2 / (1/2)
= 4

Given a=1 , ar²+ar⁴=90 ar²(1+r²)=90 1r²(1+r²)=90 Let r²= y y(1+y)=90 y²+y-90=0 y²+10y-9y-90=0 y(y+10)-9(y+10)=0 (y-9)(y+10)=0 Changing y by r² (r²-9)(r²+10)=0 (r²+10) is an imaginary number so neglect it r²=9 r=3

Let side of triangle ABC be (2x)m and side of triangle DEF be (x)m. In∆ABC ~ ∆DEF (by AA ) since both ∆ are equilateral ∆. now, ar(∆DEF):ar(∆ABC)=x²:x²/4 =1:4 Hence ratio of area of ∆DEF to the area of ∆ABC is 1:4

In 'CATRACT' the distinct set of letters is {C,A,T,R} while in "TRACT" the distinct set of letters is {T,R,A,C} . So, { C,A,T,R}={T,R,A,C} are equal. Hence set of letters needed to spell both the words are equal.
