there is no big deal to find out the equation.....first put the value (4,3)respectively in place of x and y in the equation of ellipse x2/a2+y2/b2 .and then again put the (1,4) and there will be quadratic equation. on solving quadratic equation .you will get the value of a2 =247/7 and value of b2 =247/15 and the required equation will be 7x2 +15y2=247
