In an hour or 60 minutes, the large hand performs a complete circle of 360 degree.
Therefore, in a time span of 20 minutes or One third of one Hour, you will get 120 degree or
To find the count of centimeters it is required to move the hand, we first frame the formula i.e. to find the length of the “arc” formed by circular movement of the hand
Therefore, the extremity moves 88 cm in twenty minutes.

Let ‘a’ be the first term and ’r’(≠) be the common ratio of the given G.P.The general teams of G.P. If Sn denotes the sum of ‘n’ terms, then,
Sn = a((1 - rn)/(1 - r)) r ≠ 1
This can also written as
Sn = a((rn - 1)/(r - 1))
Note: (1) Sn = a + ar + ar2 +….. +arn-1
(2) If r = 1, then Sn = a + a + a +……………+a – na
(3) If r = 1, then formulas for Sn fail
(4) If r < 1, then use Sn = a((1 - rn)/(1 - r))
(5) If r > 1, use Sn = a((rn - 1)/(r - 1))
(6) Sum of an infinite G.P.,a + ar + ar2 + ..... is a/(1 - r), - 1 r < 1
(7) If a, b, c are in G.P.then ‘b’ is the G.M. (geometric mean) between a and c, then b2 = ac ⇒ b = √ac
(8) If A and G are A.M. and G.M. of two given distinct positive real numbers, then relation between A and G is A > G.

The Fibonacci sequence, also known as Fibonacci numbers, is defined as the sequence of numbers in which each number in the sequence is equal to the sum of two numbers before it. The Fibonacci Sequence is given as:
Fibonacci Sequence = 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, ….
Here, the third term “1” is obtained by adding first and second term. (i.e., 0+1 = 1)
Similarly,
“2” is obtained by adding the second and third term (1+1 = 2)
“3” is obtained by adding the third and fourth term (1+2) and so on.
For example, the next term after 21 can be found by adding 13 and 21. Therefore, the next term in the sequence is 34.

It is given that:
n(X)=17,n(Y)=23,n(X∪Y)=38
n(X∩Y)=?
Using the formula
n(X∪Y)=n(X)+n(Y)−n(X∩Y)
∴38=17+23−n(X∩Y)
⇒n(X∩Y)=40−38=2
∴n(X∩Y)=2

(1.1)^(10000) = (1 + 0.1)^(10000)
use formula,
(x + y)^n = nC0.x^n + nC1.x^(n-1)y + nC2.x^(n-2)y^2 + ........+nCn.y^n
(1 + 0.1)^(10000) = 10000C0.(1)^(10000) + 10000C1.(1)^9999(0.1) + ....... other terms
= 1 × 1 + 10000 × 0.1 + ......... other terms .
= (1 + 1000 + .......other terms ) > 1000
hence, (1.1)^(10000) > 1000

As, it is given that k th term of the A.P. is 5k + 1.
therefore,
ak = a + (k – 1)d
⇒ a + (k – 1)d = 5k + 1
⇒ a + kd – d = 5k + 1
now, on comparing the coefficient of k, we get,
d = 5
and
a – d = 1
⇒ a – 5 = 1
⇒ a = 6

We know that graph of general equation of first degree in two variables, Ax + By + C = 0, where A, B and C are real constants such that A and B are not zero simultaneously is a straight line.
Thus General Equation of Straight line is Ax + By + C = 0, where A, B and C are real constants such that A and B are not zero simultaneously.

The graph of the linear equation y = mx + c is a line with m as slope, m and c as y-intercept. This form of the linear equation is called slope-intercept form. The values of m and c are real numbers.
The slope, m, represents the steepness of a line. The slope of the line is also termed as gradient, sometimes. The y-intercept, b, of a line, represents the y-coordinate of the point where the graph of the line intersects the y-axis.

The three numbers in GP are 4 , 8 , 16.
- Let the three numbers in GP be a/r , a , ar.
- Now the product of three numbers is given as 512.
a/r × a × ar = 512
a³ = 512
a = 8
- Now sum of the three numbers is given as 28.
a/r + a + ar = 28
8/r + 8 + 8r = 28
8 + 8r² = 20r
8r² - 20r + 8 =0
8r² - 16r - 4r + 8 =0
8r(r-2) - 4(r-2) = 0
(r-2)(8r-4) = 0
- Therefore, r = 2 or r=1/2
- Now , the three numbers are 4,8,16.
