L.h.s tan15+cot15=>(tan15.tan15+1)/tan15 =>(sec15.sec15 )/tan15=>sec15/sin15 =>1/(sin15.cos15)=>2/sin30=>4. (Proven )

Aman Kumar 7 years, 9 months ago

tan15°+cot15° =sin15°/cos15°+cos15°/sin15° =sin^215°+cos^215°/cos15°×sin15° (L.C.M) =1/cos15°×sin15° =1/cos(45°—30°)×sin(45°—30°) Now on further eleborating it, you will get your desired answer.

Tan(A-B) =TanA-TanB/(1+TanATanB) => TanATanB+1=(TanA-TanB)/Tan(A-B) So TanxTan(60+x)+1 ={Tan(60+x)-Tan60}/Tan60 -----1 Tanxtan(x-60)+1= {Tanx- Tan(60-x)}/tan60---------2 Tan(x+60)tan(x-60)+1 ={tan(60+x)-tan(x-60)}/tan120--------3 Adding 1,2 and 3 we get TanxTan(60+x)+1+Tanxtan(x-60)+1+Tan(x+60)tan(x-60)+1=0 soTanx tan(x+60)+tanx tan(x-60)+tan(x+60) tan(x-60)=-3
