P(n): 23n-1 =7d, where d is any natural number. P(n): 23n-1 =7d. ..... (1) P(5): L.H.S = 23×5-1=115-1 = 114 , which is multiple of 7 . so by principle of mathematical induction. Hence it is proved that p(5) is true for given statement.
