Conquistadores were military leaders who turned to the New World to exercise their military prowess after the Spanish defeated the Muslim Moors at home. From about 1513 to 1540, the conquistadores and their armies swept across Central and South America, establishing a wealthy empire for Spain.

Capitulation occurs when investors attempt to exit an investment or market so quickly that they are willing to surrender any and all gains to do so. Panicked behavior often causes a capitulation, and investors may attempt to liquidate most or all of their holdings in these circumstances.

1. The British traders had been doing the trade in foreign countries for a long time. Thus they had accumulated sufficient capital which is the primary need for establishing the factories and industries.
2. England had plenty of natural resources like iron and coal which are essential for industries.
3. England had established a large number of new colonies from where she could get the cheap raw material. These colonies could also serve as best markets to sell their finished goods.
4. England had developed a large and big shipping industry which solved the problem of transporting the things to far away countries.
5. Due to Agrarian Revolution, many agriculturists went out of the job. Such people supplied the factory owners with cheap labour.

• Luddites were those who started a protest movement .
• They were textile workers in the period when industrial revolution took place in late 19th century.
• They protested against the machines which were introduced that threatened to make their jobs obsolete.
• The protest began with the took place organised protest in Nottinghamshire on March 11, 1811.
• Later on protests began to occur all across northern England.
