Yes, I agree that ‘Lost Spring’ explains the grinding poverty and traditions that condemn thousands of people to a life of abject poverty. 'Lost Spring' is a good narration of grinding poverty and traditions to which thousands of people have succumbed over decades. The story revolves around the pitiable condition of poor children who have been forced to live in slums and work hard in dirty conditions. The story is divided into two parts. The first part tells the writer's impression about the life of poor ragpickers who have migrated from Bangladesh but now have settled in the Seemapuri, on periphery of Delhi. These people are devoid of education, food and the basic amenities. So garbage is gold to them as ragpicking is their only means of survival.
The second part narrates the miserable life of the bangle makers in the town of Firozabad. The stark reality of these families is that in spite of back-breaking hard work that they put in, they cannot have two square meals a day. Besides, they are victims of exploitation by those above them and also suffer the consequences of blind belief in traditions. They cannot dare to dream to lead a better life.

ONE cannot recall any movement in world history which has gripped the imagination of the entire human race so completely and so rapidly as the Green Movement which started nearly twenty-five years ago. In 1972 the world's first nationwide Green party was founded in New Zealand.

Tutankhamun was a pharaoh of ancient Egypt. Ancient Egyptians gave their kings the title of pharaoh. Tutankhamun lived from 1370 BC to 1332 BC. His original name was Tutankhaten. He changed his name to Tutankhamun, which means ‘living image of Amun’. He brought back all the old laws and ways of life. He ruled for about nine years — and then died unexpectedly. He was the last heir of a powerful family that had ruled Egypt for centuries. His death meant the end of a dynasty. Thus his death was a big event in history. It is even thought that he could have been murdered. His tomb was discovered in 1922 by the British archaeologist Howard Carter.

Yes, with reference to the lesson we can say that the act of stealing is stealing even if it's for a good purpose. In the lesson Maurad found a horse without any owner, he knew that its owner must be searching for it but for his own enjoyment he don't thought about the owner of horse and took it.
