The royal people were buried with much gold because they believed in an afterlife. They thought that there was life after death and all the gold would help them to live in luxury.

Tut was just a teenager when he died. He was laid to rest in his grave laden with gold and finally forgotten. The tomb was discovered only in 1922. The world has been speculating about Tut’s fate. Some even didn’t rule out the possibility of his murder. A CT scan was done on Tut to offer new clues about his life and death. The other aim was to provide an accurate ‘forensic reconstruction’ of the young Pharaoh.

Mr Braun was Albert's history teacher. He was grumpy and arrogant, believing that his method of teaching, of memorising dates and useless facts rather than ideas was the correct way to study. He is egotistic and does not care to listen to Albert's views on the matter of how to study. He is also short tempered, as he would not listen to Albert at all.

When Howard Carter finally reached the mummy he ran into trouble, because he could not raise the mummy out of the coffin. The ritual resins had hardened, cementing King Tut's body to the bottom of his solid gold coffin. No amount of force could pull it out.

On 4th January, the mental condition of the voyagers was vacillating between hope and despair. After 36 hours of continuous pumping, water had receded but they still had to keep pace with the water still coming in. The captain's wife provided them with the first meal in two days of some corned beef and cracker biscuits. However, this respite was only short-lived. The storm started building up and the situation again became worse. On 5th January, the situation was desperate. When the captain went to his children to comfort them, the small boy asked him innocently if they all were going to die but added that he did not mind dying as long as all were the family members were together. This strengthened the captain's determination to fight all odds and survive.

The poet probably means that sadness runs through the blood of the kingfisher.
Explanation:
It seems that sadness or there runs through the blood of the kingfisher as it runs in its mother's blood. This question is a part of the poem named " The Kingfisher" written by William Henry Davies.
The line mentions "tears" and this signifies a sense of sadness and anything which is not happy. Hence the tone of the poem runs in sadness and from that aspect it might be deducted that the poet bis probably trying to say that the kingfisher's blood is full of sadness.

Aram and Mourad didn’t want to be caught with the stolen horse. They had to keep it away from the eyes of the people, particularly its owner. Mourad had found a deserted vineyard. He took the horse inside the house and tied it there. If caught, it could bring a bad name to the family, its integrity and honesty.

Aram and Mourad have stolen the house and want to hide it in their cousin’s place.
They also want to keep it away from the eyes of its actual owner and people in their locality.
Finally, Mourad has found the best place to keep the horse, i.e. in the deserted vineyard.
He pulled the horse inside and tied it snugly.
If he is caught that he has stolen the horse, it would be a bad name for his family and their family lose the honesty and integrity.

John Byro was a farmer whose horse had been stolen by Mourad. Though an Assyrian himself, he had learnt to speak Armenian. He missed his horse very badly as he had to travel long distances on foot without his surrey. He was a credulous simpleton. One day when he caught Mourad and Aram red-handed with the stolen horse, he could not trust his gut feelings about his own horse. He preferred to trust Mourad. One can call it his gullibility or the reputation of the Garoghlanian tribe.

John Byro was sure the horse that Mourad and Aram were sitting on was his horse that had been stolen; however, he knew the Gargholonian family was famous for their honesty and integrity; he knew no member of Garoghlanian tribe could be a thief; so he thought the horse must be a twin of his stolen horse.

John Bryo checked the teeth of horse and stated that he coud swear that it was same horse that was stolen but the fame of their family for honesty was to him.He was sure that the horse was twin of his horse ,a suspicious man would believe his eyes instead of his heart.

The Garoghlanian family was an Armenian tribe. Eleven centuries ago it was the wealthiest family in that part of the world. However, now every branch of the Garoghlanian tribe was living in the most amazing and comical poverty in the world. These poor people had no money. Nobody could understand where they ever got money enough to keep them with food in their bellies. The Garoghlanian tribes were famous for their honesty.
It had been the hallmark of the tribe for many centuries. They were proud of their family. Honesty came next and then they believed in right and wrong. None of them would take advantage of anybody in the world. No member of the Garoghlanian family could be a thief. The elders felt pained to remember that they had lost their homeland. These people shifted their residence from one place to the other. The narrator says, “That year we lived at the edge of the town, on Walnut Avenue.”

When Ranga meets Ratna, she is eleven years old. The narrator tricks Ranga by saying that she is already married. This gives the impression that marrying an eleven year old girl is acceptable. Moreover, Ranga and Ratna are both bright individuals, with a bright future ahead of them. The narrator could have wished for Ratna to be educated and could have wished for Ranga to finish his education and find a good job. Yet, his primary focus was on getting Ranga and Ratna married.
Child marriage is illegal in India for a very good reason. Children who are married young are not mature enough to act like adults and cannot be expected to do things like an adult. They are robbed of their childhood and their innocence. Furthermore, girls who get married young might also be forced to produce children at a young age, which can be dangerous and life threatening for young girls.
