Fire is actually a chemical reaction. It's an oxidation reaction to be specific. When wood gets hot enough (the part of the wood that is burning) the large hydrocarbons break down to charred solids and a gas. The gas is what reacts with oxygen in the atmosphere to produced light, CO2 and H2O.

On the Kelvin scale the coldest temperature possible, -273oC, has a value of 0 Kelvin (0 K) and is called the absolute zero. Because there are no lower temperatures than 0 K, the Kelvin scale does not have negative numbers.

In one orbital, the orientation of the two electrons are always the opposite of each other. One electron will be spin up, and the other electron is spin down. If the last electron that enters is spin up, then ms = +1/2. If the last electron that enters is spin down, then the ms = -1/2.
