Limiting reagent is the reacting species which is totally consumed when the reaction is completed. The amount of product formed depends on limiting reagent as the reaction would cease once the limiting reagent is completely used up. For example, let us suppose that in the reaction 2H2+ O2―> 2H2O , Hydrogen is the limiting reagent so, when the given amount of hydrogen in the reaction is completely consumed the formation of H2O would cease as no more H2will be available to combine with O2. i don't have book so i prefer Google

Planck's law describes the spectral density of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a black body in thermal equilibrium at a given temperature T. The law is named after Max Planck, who proposed it in 1900. It is a pioneering result of modern physics and quantum theory.

f-block elements Elements in which the differentiating electron enters into (n-2)f orbital of antipenultimate or ultimate shell are called as f-block elements. f-block contains two series 4f series called as lanthanides and 5f series called as actinides. f-block elements r also known as inner transition elements. General electronic configuration of f-block elements is- (n-2)f^1-14(n-d)^0-1ns^2 np^6

General electronic configuration of d-block elements - (n-1)d^1-10 ns^2 np^6

d-block elements Elements in which the differentiating electron enters into (n-1)d orbital of penultimate shell are called d-block elements. d-block contains 10 groups (3-12 groups). d-block elements are also known as transition elements except 12 group.

Shreya Singh 7 years, 6 months ago

First just remember the point that the letter denoting blocks i.e.s,p,d,f are always written in small letters. s-block Elements in which the differentiating electon enters into s-orbital of valence shell are called as s-block elements. s-block max. accomodates 2 electrons so,it has 2 groups, first group and second group. General electronic configuration of s-block elements is - ns^1-2. p-block Elements in which the differentiating electon enters into p-orbital of valence shell are called as p-block elements. p-block max. accomodates 6 electons so,it has 6 groups (13-18 groups). General electronic configuration of p-block elements is - ns^2np6.
