Make Hydrogen Gas - Method 1. One of the easiest ways to obtain hydrogen is to get it from water, H2O. This method employs electrolysis, which breaks water into hydrogen and oxygen gas. Unbend the paperclips and connect one to each terminal of the battery.

Electron Gain Enthalpy is the energy released when one mole of electron are added to gaseous atoms of an element. Electron Affinity is the same as Electron Gain Enthalpy but viewed as the energy supplied to the surroundings rather than that released by the atoms. Hence its sign is opposite from the latter.

Genius Ss 7 years, 2 months ago

the hairs will cling together because they are wet, as we are in the habit of saying. ... So it is not exactly the wetness of the brush that makes the hairs cling together. Rather, it is a phenomenon called surface tension.

When electron is at infinite distance from nucleus, its energy is zero. When it is brought near to the nucleus, energy becomes less than zero, i.e., negative due to force of attraction between nucleus

Ʌɐpɐʎ Ɐuɐɥsɹɐp . 7 years, 2 months ago

it is taken as negative because at infinite distance from the nucleus the electron's kinetic energy is not calculated.. that's why it's taken as zero... nd when this electron comes near to the nucleus the stability increases due to loss of energy of electron.. as a result energy of electron becomes less negative... hence we take electron's energy as negative.

Only the gaseous states of those substances are regarded as vapours which are liquid at room temperature. Since water is a liquid, its gaseous state is called vapours. However, the gaseous state of ammonia is called gas because it is not a liquid at room temperature.

A polar molecule has a net dipole as a result of the opposing charges (i.e. having partial positive and partial negative charges) from polar bonds arranged asymmetrically. Water (H2O) is an example of a polar molecule since it has a slight positive charge on one side and a slight negative charge on the other

Ankit Aryan Shivan 7 years, 2 months ago

Polar molecules are those molecules which contain parmanent dipole movement.or partial charge is developed.

Torque is a movement of force. It is a product of applied force and the component of position vector perpendicular to the direction of force. Or u can say it as the product of magnitude of the applied force. Force is a product of mass and acceleration. Hope u get the difference
