The empirical formula of a compound is defined as the formula that shows the ratio of elements present in the compound, but not the actual numbers of atoms found in the molecule. The ratios are denoted by subscripts next to the element symbols.
The empirical formula is also known as the simplest formula because the subscripts are the smallest whole numbers that indicate the ratio of elements.

Drawbacks of Rutherford’s Model of an Atom
·Rutherford’s atomic model could not explain how the moving electrons could remain in its orbit.
·Any charged particle during acceleration would give out energy; and while revolving it would lose energy and eventually fall into the nucleus.
·This means that the atom would be highly unstable.
·But, matter is composed of stable atoms.
·Thus, the major drawback of Rutherford’s atomic model was that it could not explain the stability of atoms.

Because of Cs being most electropositive and F being most electronegative, the electronegativity difference is largest. Hence, they are easily separable. Hence, CsF is most ionic, least stable compound. In case of KF, the electronegativity difference is smaller.
