M = molar mass
m = mass of a substance (in grams)
n = number of moles of a substance

The axial bonds are longer than equatorial bonds because of greater repulsion from equatorial bonds. So axial bonds are nearer to equatorial bonds and this causes greater repulsion resulting in elongation of bond length.
