When an electron is added to an isolated oxygen atom, it becomes uninegative ion. Now if one more electron has to be added, then it will experience a repulsive force or columbic force of repulsion. Hence more energy has to be supplied for the addition of an electron to this uninegative ion. Therefore , the second electron gain enthalpy is positive for oxygen.

Joule–Thomson effect deals with the increase or decrease in the temperature of a real gas or a liquid when allowed to expand freely through a valve or other throttling device while kept insulated so that no heat is transferred to or from the fluid, and no external mechanical work is extracted from the fluid. During this process enthalpy of fluid remains constant.

The number of electrons present in 1 molecule of methane is
CH4 = 1(6) + 4(1) = 10 electrons.
1 molecule of methane has 10 electrons.
1 mole of methane has 6.023X1023 molecules of methane.
Number of electrons present in 1 molecule of methane = 10
Number of electrons present in 6.023X10 23 molecules of methane = 6.023X1023 X 10
= 6.023X1024 electrons
