During fertilization, when the sperm(having acrosome in the head of sperm) come in contact with zona pellucida(layer of ovum), zona pellucida allows to enter only that sperm and prevents the entry of other sperms. Acrosome helps to penetrate the zona pellucida.

Glucose is highly soluble in water. Therefore, after photosynthesis, the obtained glucose would get dissolved in water and be lost through transpiration.
