BIODEGRADABLE = can be broken down into simpler forms by action of decomposers, can act as a breeding spot for mosquitoes and foul smell, eg:-leather, vegetable peels, meat, etc. NON BIODEGRADABLE = cannot be broken down by any enzyme present in decomposers, can cause water and soil pollution, eg:-plastic, metal, glass, etc.
